Here's to October!!
I ran my second "race" and I finished 45 seconds S. L. O. W. E. R than my first, but it was still fun! I finally got some new shoes and my knees no longer hurt when I run, so hopefully the NEXT one will be even better. Wow, who would have thought that I would ever run anything... and actually like it!
The thing that made it better? My family.... ALL of them were there at the finish line cheering me on! Thanks guys, it made my day! :)
We went to the "trunk or treat" at the church and the kids had a blast.
I am not a huge fan of Halloween, it kind of creeps me out a bit, and I try (obviously unsuccessfully), to keep my kids dressed in the "cute, fun, festive" costumes, but when my kid decided a YEAR ago, yes a year.... that he was going to be a zombie, there was no changing his mind.

Fuzzy got the hang of if really quickly and was VERY sad when we got around the block and he had to be done.

Seriously, you really look fantastic and Alec is a really great zombie lol. Really nice job on the makeup. We miss you guys. Graham and I like to look at pictures of you guys and say all of your names.
