"I do it!"

Prior to becoming a mother, I had it in my head that my children would never have dirty faces, boogy noses, or sticky fingers!  I have come to the conclusion that kids and clothes wash, and that it is OK if they get a little (or a lot) messy.  Such is life!  When Peanut comes home from school, I make him have a snack so he doesn't get into the dreaded "black spiral" of hunger that seems to plague our family.  Of course my independant Peachy has to have some too....  She has to do everything by herself! "No, Mama, I do it, I do it!!"  So, she does it, and often times the result is a big gross sticky mess!  Again, I have to remind myself that kids and clothes wash!
