One of those days

I want a do over.

Today was really "one of those days".
First of all,
Peachy decided to keep herself busy by making a masterpiece out of stickers
on the piano bench.

The destructive power of a three year old is immense and swift.
My winter bin was emptied.
(granted it SHOULD be packed away in the BASEMENT,
but it seems that winter is NEVER going to end...)

What is the fascination with hangers??
A dozen broken hangers, and a couple dresses now missing buttons,
quiet time quickly turned into "mess up the room" time!
EVERY single item of clothing was violently removed, with the hangers becoming the casualties.
All of the toy bins were empties onto the floor.
Fuzzy was almost asleep,
so I just listened to the ongoing destruction with the fear of what I was going to see when the
so called "quiet time" ended.
I did not have the patience to put everything away, so I just made a pathway to the beds.
Just as we were heading upstairs for bed,
Peachy decided it would be FUN to try a new hairstyle:
Sticky fingers twisted into hair sure is fun to remove from a squirming, crying, writhing, tired little girl.
I was able to selvage the hair,

But not the sticky fingers.
(Much to Peanut's dismay)

And even though my kitchen looks like THIS:
I am exhausted, and I am going to bed!
Let's hope tomorrow is better,
because I don't know if I can do another day like today any time soon.

I've said many times Parenthood is WAY overrated!!! AND you think it'll get better when the kids get bigger...think again, my friend. It's the same stuff...different day...
