Friday Confessional

It's Friday, and you know what that means!  Friday confessional with Glamazon and Mamarazzi
Someday I will  "pull my balls out of my purse" (saying courtesy of a good work buddy) and confess some real dirt, *and I have a bunch*, but for now I am keepin it fluffy!

I confess....

*I am pretty sure that my kids don't know that they have real, true, GIVEN names!

Ry and I thought long and hard about our children's names and their given names are cool, and meaningful, and each one has a story.  So, WHY is it that we NEVER  rarely call them by their given names?

*We rely heavily, and I mean HEAVILY on nick names.

* Here are just a small sampling of the things we call our children:

Peanut, red, red man, bug, bugga boo, smarty pants, turkey, turkey butt, peanutity, little man, good man, stinky pete, beanie, jelly beanie, jelly belly, beanie bubbs, bubba, booba, blondie, peachy, stinker, toady toad, peachy pie, pie face, pie, pie pie, baby girl, sister, fuzzy, spud, bud, buddy, spuddy, spudster, stinky, smelly melly....

* I confess, I probably should call them by their names occasionally when they are not in trouble, but we love their terms of endearment and can't imagine calling them *anything* else ☺

What do you want to confess?!?

We use nicknames pretty often, but both boys know their real names--if for nothing else than when they are in trouble.
