Friday Confessional, Halloween addition

Glamazon is taking a break this week, but I am playin' anyway!

It's Halloweeeeeeen time.

Time for ghouls and goblins
ghosts and witches
skeletons, bats and zombies.

All things dead and undead are celebrated.

I do NOT like Halloween.
I don't!

It is creepy and scary
and WAY too sexy.

I don't get the thrill of Halloween.
How is blood and gore and terror fun?
And those barely there costumes? WOW, that's way more than I (or my kids) needed to see!

There is a house by me that sports a half decapitated hanging dummy that freaks me out.
The same house has a horribly mangled dummy that is impaled on a long bloody stick in the yard.
I have to remember to drive a different way so as not to have to pass this house.
It is disgusting, and scary, and I don't want my kids to see that!

I don't go on the "Terror ride" or in the Haunted House at the local amusement park because the things inside are very disturbing.  It is frightening, and offensive to the Spirit. I look forward to the 1st of November when Halloween is over for another year.

Yes, I carve pumpkins and dress up my kids, but I don't have to like it!

There are some parts about Halloween that I like and dislike. I agree with you about many things being "offensive to the Spirit." I feel that way about scary movies. I think it brings a bad spirit into the home.
