On Tuesday June 18th 2002, at 2:37 AM after almost 2 days of labor, a failed epidural, and 3 hours of pushing, you FINALLY joined our family! We prayed, fasted, begged, and pleaded for you for many years. You made me a Mama and changed our lives forever! We love you so much and are so grateful for the opportunity that we have to be your parents. I can't believe that you are 8 years old! Peanut, you are such an "old soul", wise beyond your years, your mind continues to amaze me. These are 8 things that I adore about you..... 1. Your COPPER hair. 2. Listening to you sing while you practice the piano. 3. Your sensitive spirit that recognizes spiritual things. 4. I love that you are an excellent big brother. 5. I love to hear you read. 6. I am amazed by your fascination of science and the human body and how and why it works the way it does. (What other 6 year old would take notes at Body Worlds?) 7. Your laugh. 8. Your macaroni toe ;) !!

Shantel - I think you have a future MD on your hands! A is such a darling boy! I remember when he was a little 3 yr old - I can hardly believe he really is turning 8! WOW! Of course our little ones E & J are turning 5 which blows my mind!!! So glad we have you & your darling family for friends.
