Hmm, where shall I start? It has been an eventful June so far, and we aren't even finished! Swim lessons started at the beginning of the month, the first session was rainy and cold, but the kids liked it anyway! Peachy enjoyed the 1st day, second day not so much, but has gotten better. She doesn't like going under the water when it isn't her idea, the pool starts out with an inch of water and gets progressively deeper, Peachy LOVES to walk out into the water until she can barely keep her chin out, then she turns around, walks all the way back to the shallow and does it again, she won't let me hold her hand anymore, so I have to hold the back of her suit so she doesn't fall. She is fearless. Beanie is in the preschool class and he likes to splash his teachers and cause trouble (typical Beanie behavior). He likes the games and is loving lessons. He asks every day if we can go "fwimmin" Peanut thinks he can already swim, but in reality this is the first time he has taken lessons.... He is actually doing quite well in his current level, but I worry as he progresses that he won't listen to his teacher anymore because he "already knows how to swim" He is like his father when it comes to floating, HIS FEET SINK!!! he can't get them to stay up! Ry has ALWAYS had issues with that, no matter what he does, his feet sink. Maybe because they are freakishly big?!? I enjoy watching them learn new things and it is fun to have something to do every day.
Here are some random swimming pictures:
After we swim, the kids like to play at the covered playground
