Last night on our way home from Peanut's piano recital he told us a joke. He said "I have a joke to tell you, and I waited until we were done with my recital and dinner, because I thought it might be unappropriate to tell at dinner"...... that piqued our interest and caused us a little worry.....
"There were these three friends, 'Shut up', 'Manners', and 'Poop'. They were walking down the street and Poop got hit by a car. Manners tried to help him while Shut up called 911. When the police got there he asked the first friend his name, 'What's your name son?' 'Shut up.' 'What? you want me to shut up? What's your name?' 'Shut up IS my name.' 'Where are your manners boy?' asked the police man. To which Shut up replies.... "He's over there pickin up Poop"
Peanut told us that our neighbor boy and his classmate and friend had made it up. I don't know if he did make it up or not, but I could not stop laughing........... Yes, I know it is a little crude, but hearing my 6 year old tell it, with a little trepidation because he thought it was "unapproproate" was hilarious.
