My teeny tiny Peachy
My sweet little Peachy is 15 months old! I can't believe how fast it has gone, and how she changes before my eyes. I took Peachy to her 15 month well child check up last week, and she is still a "witto witto girl" !! (that is how Beanie says it.... so cute!) She is 18 pounds and 28 inches. She is in the 2% for weight and 5% for length. Her head is humongous at 29% ;) Our regular MD is out on maternity leave, so we saw a different MD in the practice who seemed overly concerned with Peachy's size! She wanted to send Peachy for a nutrition consult and start testing her for different things, but I said no. She has ALWAYS been small, and comes from a long line of petite people, so I am not worried! She is following the "curve" perfectly and is just small. I will be grateful when my regular Doctor comes back!!! Peachy has reached all her "milestones" except talking.... she says only 2 words, Mama and shoes, but signs several words, so we communicate very well! Peachy is a very opinionated child, and lets us know what she wants, so I am quite happy with her communication and again, am NOT worried. It was recommended that we have a speech/spectrum consultation eval because "she should be saying at least six words by now" Ummmm, signing doesn't count? I left feeling unsettled and confused and felt like I was a bad mom. I complained to Ry, who just felt that she was being thorough, and just doesn't know Peachy like her regular MD. I am very lucky to be Peachy's mama, and I love her so much!

We had that issue with Spencer, they were concerned with his weight gain when we moved back to Utah. He was always small, so I didn't pay much attention to it. Lexie only says a few words too, but she does pretty good at communicating with us. They are still really young, so it shouldn't be too big of a concern.
HAllee didn't get any teeth until 14 monthd old and me being a dental hygirnist was super worried but so far so good... she has all her teeth but they are just comiung in really behind! I'm glad you aren't worried... since I was the yongest my mom always said "Jay don't get big" and well I m the shortest of them family by far so it worked!
My Norah is still teeny.Nearly 3 years old but only around 26lbs. (but maintaining her curve perfectly...) She was only 4lbs when born and it irritates me because her pedi never use an adjusted chart for her height and weight because she was still full term (cord annomoly-velementous cord insertion) My husband's family are all petite, his Mother is barely 5'2", so she's taking more from that gene pool! Don't let the docs bully you into feeling frustrated or inadequate when it comes to your little one. You know her best! P.S. She is such a sweetie!
What a doll! I love the curls. She's a beauty.
