Have I learned my lesson?

Today was an adventurous day! Wednesdays are my "busy day". I volunteer in the boy's classrooms on Wednesday mornings. Today was Peanut's turn. We get up at 7:30, I somehow manage to get all 4 of us ready to go..... Send Peanut on the bus, drop Beanie off at pre-school, drop Peachy off at my friends house, head to Peanut's school, do math centers, pick Peachy up, run a couple errands, pick Beanie up, head home. I get home, and where oh where are the house keys? Oh yeah, I lost them! Not unlike me, unfortunately. Unload Beanie from the car, wake poor Peachy up, head down the street to the neighbors house to get spare key, not home! Ry is out of town, Beanie has to go potty, it is lunch time for everyone, but Peachy gets especially grumpy without food.... Go to another neighbors house, use her potty before Beanie floats away. Hmmm now what? Good thing my phone was charged! I call Mom and Dad P, see if they might be able to meet me somewhere in the middle, so I can get a key! How about some lunch? Pack the kids BACK into the car, at this point Peachy is very upset with me! Drive half an hour, (Peachy had a nice nap) meet Mom and Dad for lunch, got Peachy some yummy potato soup that I could mash easily, (since my grinder was at home). We survived! Thanks Mom and Dad for the yummy lunch, the nice visit and a KEY!! We get home just in time to get Peanut off the bus and head to piano and tumbling. Today, we also got to pick up Peanut's repaired (for the 3rd time) glasses from the Eye Doctor! So, needless to say, we spent a lot of time in the car today. I had planned to clean the house today, but got to do other things instead! This is the 4th, yes FOURTH time that I have locked myself out of my house in the almost 2 years that we have lived here! Do I have extra keys? Nope, not yet, but that is on the agenda for tomorrow.

Oh man, gotta hate those days. I have locked myself out a few times and luckily had a window open to go through. That is smart to have an extra with a neighbor and in-laws.
