Mission Reunion

R had his Mission Reunion last Friday at President Hesslington's house. There were only 5 other families there, so it was a really nice get together. All of the children got along so well, it was almost like they were best friends. R served with Emilie De Azevedo, now Emilie Brown, who is the producer of "Signing Time". We LOVE Signing Time at our house!! Peanut was so excited to meet "Alex's mom". Peanut, Bean and Emilie sang some songs together and it was so fun to watch! Emilie told Peanut that she will bring Alex next time. When Peanut was younger, we would watch Signing time on PBS, and check out the videos at the library. When Bean was about 1, we started teaching him signs, and it was so beneficial to be able to commnicate with him what he wanted and needed before he was verbal. We have started teaching Peachy signs as well. She knows milk, more, all done, bath and up. So, it was fun to talk to Emilie about Signing time at the reunion.
